Starter switch

Hey guys I recently found my old 05 650 that was stolen 7 month ago the only thing wrong is they took the battery and cut the ignition switch out do you guys have any tips on replacing the switch? Or what kind I should look at

If they only cut the wires to your switch, you may be able to restore them and work the switch again with the key.

If your switch itself is grenaded, you can simulate it with your own "kluged" switch contacts; a crude work-around, for most.

Finally, a replacement OEM switch, new or used, WITH KEY, would be the way to go, IMHO. Good luck!
