Rotor removal tools and clutch holding tool- available to borrow in UK?

Hi,

Convoluted story here - so please bear with me. I'm Australian and my 1990 KLR recently broke down in Canada when a gearbox bearing failed. This was in the last days of the five month trip and the bike is now 280,000km young, so I'm not particularly upset, but I do want to get it going again ready for more adventures next year.

I have now repatriated the bike and myself to the UK where I have family (and importantly a garage available).

Part 1 of the rebuild plan is to now quickly strip the motor and assess the internal damage before I fly back to Australia in a few weeks. Part 2 will then be to return to the UK at Christmas with the required parts to do the rebuild (beats watching Christmas TV with the family).

The only flaw in my plan is all my special tools are currently safe in Australia. I was wondering if any one reading this in the UK has a flywheel rotor spanner, and removal bolt (ie the special tools to get the alternator rotor off) plus a clutch holding tool they are willing to post to Swansea asap for me to use for a few days. Of course I'm happy to pay all postage costs.

Thanks in advance.

I have the tool you are talking about, which I got from eagle Mike, which you can borrow.
I also have the socket for the flywheel bolt.

Cheers Andy
