Progressive 465 Rear Spring questions

Has anyone here installed the 465 -1" shock? The only mention search turned up was a user from 2012, he mentioned it dropped the bike a bit.
I am all for a slight seat height drop, however, I am concered that I may need to cut down the side-stand with the 465 -1".
I called progressive and support said they cannot say.

Many early Gen 2 owners wished that the OEM stand was 1/2 - 3/4 inch shorter with standard suspension.

So with the 1" drop shock I'll suggest that you will probably need to shorten your side stand about 1&3/4 inches.

I installed the Progressive Suspension -1" shock a week or so ago. It dropped the bike by .5" as it came from Progressive. When I set the sag properly, it gained .5" from its previous height.

I am certainly glad I did not by the standard length and end up with a higher seat height.
