Took time to check valves tonight

Let me start by saying the bike runs great, I have no complaints. I have a Lexx muff on it and I believe the PO installed KLX needle , probably a 142 main jet. Pulls well all the way up to redline, no flat spots. Because
of all this I was hesitant to even touch it, but I wanted
to see if the valves were ok and I believe they are.
Exhaust vales were .009 / .010 ,top of range, good.
Intake valves were .008 / .010 , top of range for one.
Should I jump on the .010 intake gap or can I let it ride
??

If it were in my shop, I would re-shim that Wide intake valve tappet to .008" or less. One is already there, may as well do it 100% correct.

Take the Center spring out of the chain tensioner.
If it happens to be the RH intake that is wide, you can probably just un-bolt the bearing caps and not need to remove the steel chain guide, just tilt the cam in the bearings.
The LH intake will require removal of the steel chain guide and roll the cam towards the spark plug.

Good to hear a second opinion, and it is on the right side, so shim is on the way.
