When I had my '02 KLR I ran Metzeler Lasertec tires with excellent results on both highways and secondary roads.
My daily commute was 13 miles one way on secondary roads and whether day, night, rain or dry, they had great grip and wore well.
My '06 KLR has OEM type tires, so I'll be swapping a new set of rubber soon, and they will be seeing 95/5 street/dirt use as did the Metzelers.
Has anyone been running the Michelin Anakee 3 tires? They look to be a very street-ish tread pattern, and based on my experience with Michelin Pilot Road tires on my Triumph Tiger1050s, Michelin makes great tires.
Tell me about your experience with the Anakee 3s!
