Subframe bolt size 2006

Hi just wondering if anyone knows to bolt size for the subframe (upper and lower ) for a gen 1? I know eagle mike has the kits (don’t want to do the drill through) but shipping to Canada is pretty high so I was thinking I could just buy some higher grade bolts locally. Also what grade would be ideal? Thanks

Please disregard. I ordered the kit through rocky mtn atv (eagle mike) shipping wasn’t too bad.

Can you use this parts screen, from up in Canada, https://www.kawasakipartshouse.com/o...kl650a6f-parts
to answer some of your less complicated questions, like this one was? https://www.kawasakipartshouse.com/o...e4793e17/frame

I find accurate parts screens to be as useful as service manuals for many things. I really love the Part Number Search feature at the bottom. Wish RMATV had it!
Many times I have both sites open, because of the search function. Like "Rear wheel cushion drive" thread.
I also wish that Babbits Partshouse system would go clear back to 1964 like my old KMC system did when we were a dealership.

One interesting feature supported by many of the parts fiche is the details on fastener size and length. So that in addition to the part number, it also shows size (8mm) and length (30mm). If you desperately need a fastener to complete your scooter and finish the ride, those details can be really helpful.

Well it’s a good thing I replaced the subframe bolts. 3 of the 4 came out very easily. The right hand side bolt was completely sheared off. I used my grabit tool that I picked and was able to remove it without ruining the bolts. Every day this bike keeps getting better. I also took some time to adjust the steering head bearing. It was definitely too loose it would flop easily while on the lift. Now it’s a little stiffer and wants to flop but definitely doesn’t drop or flop like it did.
