Never heard of "prime" position. Anybody?

This'll work but it won't be pretty -- just get in inline "on-off" valve. Here we would get them at a lawnmower shop, etc.

Good luck.

Prime flows fuel even with no vacuum applied to the vacuum line.

It will drain the tank all the way, same inlet as reserve.

That's different than here in the States.
Since I was a kid,(1970's) it's always been on, off, reserve.
Before the vaccuum operated petcocks, we'd just set it to reserve and run a line
to a gas can to drain them.

Now we hang the bike upside down from a hoist. LOL
