Thumbs up Installed 1" Lowering links on 07

Just finished installing 1.0" Lowering Links from Burkhart Cycle.com. They are 5.300" hole to hole vs. 4.985" hole to hole for the stock ones. I was going to make some myself but for $23 bought these instead. They were well made and went on easily. I also dropped the fork tubes .5" in the triple clamps.

I was expecting to have to modify the kick stand but was pleasantly surprised to find out that no modification was necessary with the 1.0" lowering links.

The small change means I can sit on it flatfooted which greatly increases confidence when riding in local soft sand. I think I'm really going to like it and 3 of my KLR riding buddies have taken it for a test spin and have all ordered 1.0" Lowering Links for their KLR's.
