2000 klr questions ..
i have a recovered theft bike and pretty much left with a rolling chassis and the motor everything else is gone ..
so seeing its a blank slate id like to upgrade where i can and make her tough and lite as possible .
so i have a few questions .
im from the cruiser side of the bike world normaly and im out of my relm here .ive owned several xl's and xr's when i was a kid but never a kawasaki ..
on my harley if i installed the nice LED lights it didnt have enough draw for them to work correctly so i had to put a resistor inline bypassing the real result i was after ie ... brighter lights with less drag on the system ..
is this the case on the older KLR's too ?
i found some real nice sets on alot of after market sites for klr pretty cheap .
and would the Tengia front fenders fit our newer klr front ends ? i never did like the high fenders on the free way just flappping ..
also with all the knowledge on this site.. whats the better of the after market guages folks like to upgrade too?
figured it would help lighten the front end up and update the 30 yr old looking cockpit .
i cant find any good photos of the brackets made for the Rukus double head light conversion ..
