leaking gas cap

gas coming thru the keyhole? how can i fix? thanks jonboy, 2001 klr 6fiddy

That's a new one on me. Maybe don't fill it as high. I know gas will leak out when it tips over but I never saw it coming from the keyhole.

the amount of fuel doesnt seem relevant. maybe a breathing prob?

Check the vent line. In the cap you will see a little nipple with a hole. Connect a piece of tubing and blow some air through it. Same goes for the hole the nipple mates too in the top of the tank.
