Thumb Idle Adjustment Screw

Here's an alternative when doing the 22 cent mod. Install a thumb idle adjustment screw. Will allow you to fine tune the adjustment simply.

Found a good buy on an Idle Mixture Screw and they are including stainless allan head screws for the bowl. You could probably use them on the cap too. I hate those Phillips screws.

Ya if by pop the cap you mean drill out the plug.

Just be careful removing the screw from the carb because there is a spring, a washer and an o-ring on it. You don'want to loose that stuff.

The taper on that needle is a bit different from the stock needle, but that's just about it.

Come out 2ish turns and fine tune from there to get the right mix at idle/small throttle opening.
