Highway bars & Skid plate

I'd like to install highway bars on my 08. I just want simple, cheap bars to extend out on. I won't be doing rough roads with this bike so I didn't plan on installing a skid plate. However someone pointed out the stocker doesn't cover the oil plug. I looked and the dang plug looks like it's lower than the stock skid. So I suppose I better buy one of those too. Since $$$ doesn't grow on trees I'll being buying 1 at a time.
Which ones are quality and inexpensive? ie the most bang for the buck.
Any links?
Thanks all

I went with the happy trails kit that has skid plate, highway pegs/radiator guard, and crash bars. I can't really complain about it other than it has a slight vibration around 4k rpms. I don't even notice it anymore though.

Well its' been awhile but I finally "upgraded" my skid plate. I never liked how low the oil plug hung down just incase I would happen to hit the random rock or land hard so a couple years ago I installed the low profile drain plug. That made me content enough to leave it alone UNTIL NOW.
I have recently been cutting out some aluminum and making skid plates for my kids dirt bikes because they have been bashing the engines into rocks and tree roots. So I thought I would make something for the ole KLR.
Right before I was getting ready to cut out my drawing I saw one of my tags lying there. "Hey lets try that".
It's not as thick as the other sheet of aluminum, but it will absorb any direct hit.
In true KLR fashion.

Looks good, Savage. License plates are pretty tough. It should perform quite admirably. I'm mostly amazed at how clean everything is in your photo.

Thanks planalp. Its clean because the trusty ole steed doesn't get ridden much. I've been having too much fun riding the other bikes with the kiddo's.
