Question Happy trail SU Rack?

Anyone have problems with the HT SU rack holes lining up? Right side is doable but left is about a quarter of an inch or more off.

Yes! I used my unibit to enlarge hole/slot a little. Be very careful to only start bolts a few turns until you have them all started-only then, tighten per H.T. Instructions.Hope that made sense....

Check your diagram-I think you may have the rack too far back. I believe that "hole" in the bike is for the last of the three rack attachment points. I removed mine on Sunday. Someone else who has them on their bike will help out. And no NOT THAT MUCH. Used the unibit to make the slot at the first attachment point a bit bigger. (the point farthest forward) sorry my explanation is not clearer!!

I had a similar issue. If you haven't,take off the turn light mount as instructed and it should fit. I don't remember exactly why, but mine ended up working without bending it. Although it was a very tight fit. Also do yourself a favor and remove the helmet lock before you put on the rack. I mounted mine on the back of one of my boxes.

Putting the turn signal mounts on there was a pain. Could barely get my fingers or a wrnech in there to attach the damn things.

I agree!!
I didnít need to move my lights with the size of my luggage, however I needed the play the new brackets offers to get the rack to fit. So, I ended up moving the lights just to use the required brackets.
