Down Pipe

I am thinking about building a down pipe for the 09.To free up more space under my seat,for the gas tank.It will have a muffler on it,this is just to give you a bit of a idea what i am thinking

Some nice welding skills though. From the look of that rear tire it seems this bike may not see anything but pavement, looks like it would work.

There is not doubt in my mind that it will workÖ. It may even work better that stock

Hey Guys You know it's funny how things beyond your control,can change what your doing.2 1/2 years ago i got my klr thinking ,in a few years my son will get a ADV bike.We can go away camping, trail riding, and all that sort of stuff.He got his bike last week a gs500 {roadbike},and he is getting a kdx200 + a trailer.I have my dt400/yz400 to do full on trail riding with him,so i am going to set the klr up for dirt/tar roads a little like a supermoto{no 17 inch front wheel for me}.Cheers Peter
