Question 2011 Front Fender Replacement...which one???

I'm looking at these different front fenders:

UFO - http://www.motostrano.com/ufounsufrfe.html

Polisport - http://www.motostrano.com/posufe.html

Acerbis EVO - http://www.motostrano.com/acevosufrfe.html

Cycra - http://www.motostrano.com/cysufe.html

Cycra Factory - http://www.motostrano.com/cyfasufrfe.html

I want something to reduce the drag/sail area of the stock fender, but want to make sure that it works in the rain as well (I've read where spray is an issue with some).

Any comments on the ones that I have listed...or any additional ones?

Thanks in advance...

Seems like many folks go with the Acerbis- I was wondering if drilling a few holes with a unibit would basically solve the problem? Anyone done something like that?(Using the stock fender?)

Folks drill holes or get a fender brace (I think I've only seen this on the Gen1 as the shape lends itself better).

Here's what I did:

Have you had any issues with water spray with the Acerbis SM fender?

I have trouble isolating what direction the soaking is coming from if I am in a real rain. Crossing water, not really. I haven't regretted it.

SM fenders let alot more rain and mud fling up and on you.

Have you thought about a fork brace and mounting the fender down low? It's your best bet for less wind flop and keeping the water off you.

I'm going to try the fender first. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Cycra Factory fender. I've found it cheaper on the Cycra website (http://store.cycraracing.com/fasufrfeb1.html). If I have a problem with spray, then I will look at a fork brace and lowering the fender.

Wont lowering the fender cause issues off road when the front suspension really articulates?

Ok, it stays a fixed distance from the tire and moves with it.
