Bought mine a while back, think it's a Studebaker. I like it. Especially useful for lubing the chain and changing tires. It also gives me a source of scrap metal for fashioning spear tips if I get caught in a future post-apocalyptic road warrior situation.
Regards
Mark

I bought an enduro trail stand because it's light, doesn't lower my ground clearance, cheap ($25), and I can use it on any other bike I buy, either at home or out in the boonies.

What's the enduro trail stand? I don't think I've ever seen one.

I have one and wouldn't be without it. My brother has one too and I like his better. It was on his bike when he got it. Think it is from Dual Star but not sure.

I put on the Happy Trails center stand.... I really like it except sometimes it drops down a little from my side stand hitting it going down...when i put my side stand back up the center stand stays down and scrapes on turns...You just have to pull it back up a little with you foot...the first few scrapes will catch you off guard though.

I have the HT stand as well. Pretty happy with it so far.

Not experiencing the hitting problem you're speaking of, did it always do that? Is it on a Gen 2?

Gday Planalp i don't think you "need" a center stand on a klr. 99.9% of the time, you can find something to prop the klr up with, within a 20 foot radius of where ever you are. For the other .01% just drop the bike on it's side. On my Varadero i carry a alloy crutch that i have cut up. I can get the front or back wheel off the ground with that. Cost $5.00 at the junk sale and would be lucky if it weighed 1lbs, works on the klr aswell, i just don't feel the need to carry it, on the klr. Cheers Peter
