fan switch cross-o-rama
Since there does not seem to be a widely known alternative to the spendy genuine Kawasaki 27010-1443 fan switch, I vote we take a little time finding the best alternative.
There does seem to be a switch floating around on ebay that will do, but I have no info on this. I would post a link, but apparently I'm still too new and dangerous to do that. If someone can come up with a good number, we'll end the thread with that part number so we can all go to Napa for a switch.
And yes, you can always wire in a manual switch, but for the time being, I'd like to try for as close as we can get to a direct replacement.
EDIT: As soon as I have some info. I'll post it here. You can do the same.
M18-1.5 with an o-ring seal, Normally Open, Closes @ 203°F-214°F, Opens @ 189°F or less
M18 x 1.5 (no o-ring), Normally Open, Closes at 198°F-208°F, Opens at 189°F-199°F, 2 male blade terminals
The thread design might allow for an o-ring. Requires a different connector that does not appear to be offered by Wells.
M18 x 1.5 with o-ring seal. two terminals, No other info provided.
M18 x 1.5 with o-ring seal. Open 203°F - Close 212°F, two blade terminals, No other info provided.
M18 x 1.5 with o-ring seal, 2 Male Blade Terminal, Normally open, Makes 199°F Breaks 190°F
I'm liking this one.
M18 x 1.5 with o-ring seal, 2 Male Blade Terminal, No other info provided
M18 x 1.5 with o-ring seal, 2 Male Blade Terminal, Normally open, Makes 216°F ± 8 Breaks 206°F ± 8
This looks good except that seems a bit hot.
