Gen2, Dealer /Done it
Finally got my 09 back and need to say that the Dealer service was good to me. They had me primed for a 300.00 bill and when I got there said they found I did not really need what they originally priced and a by bill was $150.00, over two trips.
I started with wiring harness issues, routing, shorts, FRIED, it was routed like the recall harnesses. My beef was not with the dealer but Kawasaki and they would not make there issue "right" I never expected the dealer to eat the problem. Then I had my temp gauge go dead.
Long story short version:
I feel NorthBay Motorsports in Santa Rosa treated me fairly for the issues I brought to them.
Still for those that have not checked there harness routing DO it now before you have a problem. Right side between the overflo res., rectifier and ignition coil, this is a common spot to fail. The harness should be routed on the outboard edge of the rectifier not inboard edge.
