Magnetic drain plug?

I saw in Autozone last weekend they have different oil drain plugs for $4. Some of them are magnetic. I wonder if anyone has tried them to see if they fit?
I thought this year I'd look into installing a low pro magnetic plug.
Anyone?
thanks

Not sure about the auto zone plug. My buddy did put on one of the eagle mike low profile magnetic drain plugs yesterday. It looked very well made. I guess well wait till next oil change to see how much stuff it catches.

I installed a low profile magnetic drain plug during the first oil change on my 2009. On the second oil change, there was just a bit of metal "powder" on the magnet. Certainly nothing to be alarmed about but nice to know it isn't floating around the engine any more. Consecutive oil changes show little to nothing on the magnet. For the price, I believe it is a wise investment and could lead to discovering a problem before it does much damage.

I was reluctant to say due to some less than adequate customer service from the vendor. Here's the link but don't be surprised if they take forever to ship and don't reply to your emails. I had to call them (voice mailbox always full) numerous times and wound up cancelling part of my order because I was tired of getting jerked around. Maybe they finally got their sh*t together.

Ebay has some

I eventually rounded off my low profile so I ground down the OEM.

I don't remember where I got the low profile one. The problem with it was there was only about 1/4 of nut and a socket just barely got a hold of it. It had a magnet on it but it never picked up much. I ground down the OEM enough so it didn't stick down below the skid plate.
