Drink holder

Ok........i use one of those flip up full face helmets and can drink at will. Anyone have pix of a good (cheap), homemade drink holder? Thought about just mounting a coozy to the flat edge of the fairing but don't really wanna drill or glue to my nice shiny plastics.

Any ideas would be helpful.......thanks!!

Assuming that you will be drinking from a plastic bottle, if you have a coozy or hugger that holds it snugly, maybe you could put a flat piece of metal in the bottom of it and put a rare earth magnet on the bottom side of your fairing. May be worth a try.

Got a $10 swinging cup holder (walmart) for a atv's. I have it on my cross bar and have the bottom sit on the bar clamp. (I did have to put a rivet in it to keep it from swinging (spilled my coffee in the morn without it.)

Best add on yet.

Can't live without my coffee.

I use a small 1½ quart Camelback when I'm riding and just lift the chin guard up an inch or so to take a sip - when I'm on back roads at low speed. Just lift it a bit and you can still see where you're going. A few times I've forgotten to put the chin guard back down at speeds up to about 30 mph and had no problems.

Do you lift the chin guard at freeway speeds ?? So far I haven't dared to try it.
