Quick brake question:

Long story short, strapped a tool bag to front skid plate the other day, bounced up and down on bars, turned wheel both ways and measured multiple times. Got onto to ride and a strap caught on rotor or pads, not sure, immediatly stopped when felt the pull and cut the bag off, now it seems I have an intermittant rub somewhere as I can hear the squeal. Anyone have any ideas on what the easiest area of the brakes/rotor to tweak is? Bike brakes fine, didn't see anything obvious when I double checked, but trying to figure this out. Thanks all.

Probably didn't bend the rotor maybe a pad is crooked a bit. Do they look like they're making even contact? Might be something stuck/melted onto the pad. If you can't see anything wrong try riding with the brake applied lightly and see if the squeal goes away, maybe the pads need to re-seat.

Might try jacking it up and spin by hand to see if there is any drag.

Thanks Spec, Terry. Rode it today did some safe hard braking on some deserted straightaways and seems to have gone away, guessing your assessment was right Spec. Appreciate the input from you guys. Going to do the spin test tomorrow evening just to quell my OCD.
