throttle meister on pro taper atv bars?

Greetings all,

My new klr650 fell over the other day (ok I thought it was on the kickstand :^) and bent the standard bars. I'm looking for a strong bar that has threaded ends for my throttle meister - may I have your recommendations (too late to say make sure the kickstand is all the way down!) ?

With appreciation,

Aluminum bars are a lot stronger than steel bars (7/8" will replace the steel bars without changing the clamps). You'll have a choice of bends and heights (chart here)

As far as I know you can't get aftermarket bars with threaded ends. There are expanding inserts used for mounting hand guards that should work for the Throttle Meister.

Thank you for the tips. I'm waiting for the grips (back ordered!) to put things back together. I'm almost getting used to riding with bent bars...not!
