Tinting windshields?

I'm thinking about tinting my stock shield and laminar lip for a differnt look. Has anyone done this with good results? I have an idea in mind, but I don't want it to look like azz. Thank you

There's this stuff, but I've never used it and can't vouch for it. If I were going to try it, I'd go to the hardware store and get a small piece of clear plexiglass to experiment on: not the same material as your windshield, but you could see how well it applies and maybe get some idea how durable it is with some intentional scratching, etc. I would think you would have to use it on the inside/rear surface.

I would suggest car window tinting film, but since it goes on the inside of a car window, I don't know if it would hold up to the elements. It might do just fine and you could probably get it off if it didn't work out.

Nice, Savage. I'm also curious what method/material you used to tint it.

Seen them around quite a bit...Think it has something to do with poking fun at BMW, if you see there is "KLR" above it.

Why not just buy a Givi tinted windshield for <$100, Unless you have the tint laying around so it would not cost anything.....
