Resurfacing rotors??

Hey all, quick question: I am replacing my front pads tonight And was wondering, do I need to resurface the rotors? I don't have any scoring or warping just don't want to slap on the new pads and have issues. Any and all input appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I didn't resurface my rotors at 19K miles when I swapped the pads out. The rotors both had a definite lip at the outer circumference, but they were not scored or warped, and were within minimum spec for thickness.

Your pads may take a few hard stops to seat into the wear pattern of the rotors.

I think that if it were necessary to surface the rotors it would be better to replace them.

K, thanks for the response Tom. It's appreciated. I'll probably just run some sandpaper with water over them to clean off grit real quick then.
