Stupid Question on Fuel Mileage
Ok so I did the .22 mod and then back in and pulled a wAsher so now it is the .11 mod. I have my screw turned out 1.75 and M getting horribly has mileage I admit I had my little grease monkey charge my K&N, (he over sprayed to charge, but my fault as I told him to just spray) however, even after I switched back to stock I am getting about 39 mpg compared to 43-45 before. I am heavy on the throttle but she seems to bog down at heavy pulling. could it be possible i am shifting to low?
I did notice a slight tear I. My carb diaphragm when I went back in to pull one of my washers. It was on the outer edge and seemed to be from me pinching the diaphram under the cap (the little black top of carb that Eagle Mike screws for).. Any thoughts anyone?
I have researched the bogging down and am leaning towards picking up a new diaphragm but just want to make sure before I spend the $$$. Thanks all.
