Update on the Buzzing Noise

I'm completely baffled now. (as usual) I pulled the front end of that bike completely apart.....

.....and found nothing. Nada. Zip. Checked everything I could get my hands on and pulled and twisted and shook and found nothing loose, no bolts or screws missing, no metal to metal contact, nothing......so I put it back together and went for a ride.

The buzzing is gone. HTH ?? I dunno, guess something was out of whack or maybe I scared the gremlins, but it's fine now. Go figure.

It always has amazed me over the years: you take something apart to see what's wrong, or why it doesn't work...can't find anything amiss, so you put it back together, and...IT'S FIXED!

Happens a lot...at least to me.

biglar - this sounds promising for eliminating my mystery vibration noise - did you have any parts left over ?

Haha - Model T mechanic-ing was a little (??) before my time, but yes I did - 2 small screws. Finally found their home on the fairing below the headlights. I have absolutely no recollection of removing them. Everything else went fine.
