2008 oil burners & engine #

What are the last 5 digits of your engine# for the 2008 model located under exhaust pipe and behind cylinder? Is it an oil burner? I'd like to see if there is a point before or after on the affected bikes. This is assuming the last 5 digits are sequential numbers.

Mine is 43790

I have a 2008 that thankfully is NOT an oil burner. The level is never below the halfway mark after 2 - 3,000 miles when it's changed (Rotella). I flog this bike so it isn't my riding habits. My break-in period was non-existent other than changing oil early and often.

Gray-haired riders donít get that way from pure luck.

The oil burning happens to all of the Gen 2s not just the 08s. True some don't burn oil but there are reports of later years being oil burners right here on this forum.

Kawasaki hasn't fixed the problem and isn't interested in fixing it.

I'm of the opinion that the majority of the Gen 2s will burn oil given the right conditions i.e. sustained travel @ >5k rpm.
