Trail tech Vapor stealth speedometer and tach

I'm looking at picking one of these up for my bike. They are only $100.00 ish and I haven't bought any new toys for the bike his year. Does anyone have any experience with this item? It seems pretty cool from what I have seen and reviewed. Does anyone have any real world experience with it? I'm guessing it will bring my odometer back to 00000 when I install it.

Any feed back would be great!

I'm ordering one this week so no "real world" experience yet. Seems to be tried and true according to the thousands of them out there.

I have been using one flawlessly for 5 years now. It is perfect! Just don't park under a sap dripping tree as the screen may get stained like mine did. Other than that it is perfect. It is as accurate as you can set the diameter of the front wheel speed wise. I set it against my GPS....mine is out by 1.5kph at 100kph....pretty good imho. No more 10% out like the stock unit was. If you have researched it enough to want one you know what it is capable of feature wise. So no need to go into it.
All I can say is...if mine ever died that would be the day I ordered a new one immediately!....Hope this helps.....

+1 with willys. I love mine, no issues and like Jonathan I would order another one in a second!

Also, I believe you can input your original odometer's reading into it so that it continues mileage from where you left off, kinda handy!

I've already had to replace my speedo cable once at a cost of around $30. If anything ever went wrong with my cluster itself, I would replace it with a Vapor in a second!

Sweet. Thanks for the info. I never knew about being able to set up the speedo. That's makes it more appealing to have an accurate speedo. Sold!

As always thanks for the help ya'll

It comes with everything you need... You are going to have to fabricate some type of dash to mount it in/to. Lots of guys have done it out of sheet aluminum,etc...
