So what does Kawasaki recomend as far as frequency of Doo adjustments?

I don't know what Kawi suggests, but I would suggest that at every oil change just loosen the DOO adjuster bolt 1/2 turn and then tighten ......to snug(they call for 69INCH pounds, but use common sense if you do not use a torque wrench, it isn't much at all, so snug will work).

What year bike? You obviously saw the video clip in the other thread I hope, if not watch it. This clearly demonstrates what happens to 08 and newer bikes. You will get a couple of adjustments from the stock spring, lets say 6-12 months I would hazzard a guess, and then the video clip rings true!

Then the decission is in your hnds as to what you want to do regarding your DOO system.

Hope this helps.....

Not sure of the recommendation by Kawasaki but I do it at every oil change.

Gray-haired riders donít get that way from pure luck.

Per Kawasaki (it's in the Owner's Manual) every 7500 miles. I also do it every time I change my oil.

Ok thanks guys. My bike is an 08 with 16K. I am going to pull the cover and see what I got but I think its been done as far as the Doo...You could see when I bought the bike that that cover had been off. Adjusting it at each change makes since but I need to open a hole up in my bash plate as right now the plate has to come off to get to the adjuster.
