SW Motech crashbar / center stand question

Hello. I have a 2011 KLR, I intalled crash bars last year and just ordered and received the center stand. Both by SW Motech. Looking at the instructions it looks like the center canter bolts to the holes in the frame for the foot pegs, just like the crash bars. 2 questions:

1. Does the center stand still fit with the crash bars installed?? Seems like it would space the brackets for the 'stand too far apart?

2. If it does fit, does it place your feet awkwardly, so that shifter / rear brake are difficult to reach?

Thanks

None reported by anyone. I've ridden the heck out of our KLR with both installed an did not nice any issue.

There is an issue with the SWM centerstand, at least one I encountered.

The bolts are not adequate to hold the CS and pegs to the frame and will eventually strip and come out.

(Yes, I used LocTite.)

I did drill out the bolt holes and add larger bolts for the footpegs, but I have removed the SWM CS for now.

I have read of others experiencing the same thing, so it's not an isolated incident.

I sure did like the CS up until the moment it came off...

I installed the SW Motech bars a few weeks ago. I don't have the centerstand, but I think I got longer bolts with the bars for when installing the center stand. ( My instructions call the bolts out as #12 )

Yes, the bolts that come with the CS are longer. That may be part of the problem.

I recommend upgrading to larger bolts if you use the CS. Not just the SWM one...any centerstand, really.
