Passenger foot pegs...

Ok. So my daughter turned 5 this week and has been dying to ride on my KLR, however the issue at hand is the foot pegs. We have gone for small rips on my wifes ex500 a few times and she fits well the pegs are good.

Seat to peg hight on the Ninja is between 16" depending on where you sit and the klr is 19 ish .

My first attempt was to reverse brackets on klr and pegs after about 20 min I realized the pegs had to be flipped did that and was not happy with the outcome. Now my second attempt is I removed pegs from said Ninja and have removed KLR brackes, installed ninja pegs in top holes of brackets. Slight lower peg on left side and will need space on right side with longer bolts due to exhaust...

If anyone had an other suggestion (the inexpensive way) let me know thanks...

I have the factory saddlebags on mine which helps keep their legs where they should be. Then I strap a firm padded box on the back to give them something to lean against. That and good instructions on what to do if they want me to slow down or stop has worked well for us.
