Lube oil analysis

I run a 5-40 diesel synthetic in my Cummins pickup engine. Lab oil analysis at 15,000 miles (with a 1/2 distance filter change) advised the oil was well within specs and good to go.

It's oil capacity is 2 litres of oil per litre of displacement.

Me KLR is 3.8 litres of oil per litre of displacement, but it has a wet clutch.

I'm going squander $18 to get an analysis on the KLR drain oil (10-40 moto synthetic) pretty soon and report back.

Looking forward to the results SlowPoke. Where are you getting the analysis done?
