Bar risers: cable re-routing?

I just installed a set of 2" risers for my handle-bars (Powermadd) on my '09. I was able to get some slack out of some cables. But, when I have the bars positioned where comfortable, it is still too tight. In particular, my chock cable. Even when adjusted to the max. the cable is still too tight; to the point where the choke closes (engine revs higher) when I turn to the right. The throttle cables are snug, but seem to be okay.
Does anybody have a recommendation? Currently, the cables run around the front of the top triple and up to the handle-bars.. I was thinking I could re-route the cables behind the triple; coming up on the inside. I would zip-tie them so they don't get pinched. Am I going to cause an other problems if I do that? Has anyone found a different solution?

Hi NH Thumper!
I also have the powermadd 2" on my 2011. I routed the left cables behind the triple. The choke cable makes a sharper bend when the bars are turned to the left but seems ok after 10000miles. I also spun the throttle housing 180 so the cables are to the bottom. This has worked really well with very free throttle action in all bar positions.

Hi Jeff:
Thanks; that is VERY helpful. Did you re-route the clutch cable as well? It doesn't seem as do-able.
