Tom, Paul, or whom ever could me an idea.
I just installed the drilled out banjo bolts, and then started to modify the oil filter cap with the restriction plug in place. But all I could source at the moment was a steel plug to drill out.
Any preference on material? Should I wait to get a brass one?

I've drilled it out to the #43 size to start with.

Steel is fine. My first one was steel, I'd soldered the hole closed & re-drilled smaller, several times. Later versions were the brass 1/16th" NTP .
Normk up in Chilliwack annealed over 30 steel set screws to be able to drill them, because they were easier to obtain.

I believe that Tom is still running his #43 / 2.26mm / .089inch orifice.

Thank you both.

But I might make the effort to go look for a brass plug today because it's "essential" that I work in the shop today.

Not sure if this helps, but I sourced mine on Amazon.
