08 handlebar width

Does anyone know the width of the width of the handlebars on the 08? Is it 7/8" or 1"?

Why don't you go out to your bike and measure them?

That's a great idea. The thing is that I dont have the proper measuring utencil to do that. My calipers are at my friends house so we can check the length of our bullet cases after reloading them. Thanks for the tip though.

I will try to refrain from asking stupid questions in the future.

I am pretty sure they are the same as the 07's and that would be 7/8's. There is not thing as a stupid question, please feel free to ask anything, someone will eventually give you a correct answer. Have a great one...

No questions are stupid. I misunderstood at first thinking -- width = length tip to tip, not the diameter which is what you wanted.

Now that I look back at my first post, I should have been more clear on what I was looking for and check my grammar as well. Sorry.

7/8", yea I quit tocacco 3 days ago after chewing for 35 years! Probably came across as worse than I meant it. Thought you wanted one of us to get off our butts to go measure ours for you.
