Question Keep stalling out..

I've been riding my 08 klr in some tricky woods and sometimes after rains the woods have swampy areas that i have to carefully maneuver around... it seems like the speed at which the bike stalls out in first is higher than other bikes i've had. I don't know much about wrenching. Is there a way i can adjust this? or do i just have to stop being a girl with the gas. or just craftier with the clutch at those low speeds? any input appreciated!

Slip that clutch, apply that back brake and give it some gas. You aren't going to hurt the clutch doing this. Practice the super slow manuvers in your yard or drive way doing figure 8's as tight as possible without putting your foot down. You have to balance, clutch and brake to do it right. It just basically boils down to learning your new 08 and how it likes to be ridden. Hope this helps..

If you haven't done the Motorcycle Safety Foundation basic riders course you might want to consider it. Lot's of benefits - but training and hands on experience with low speed manuvers is a big part of it.

+1 on the MSF course, I did the ERC two weeks ago. I learned a lot and feel much more comfortable with my bike than I did. My buddy could instantly see a difference in my riding ability, enough so, that he is going to take the course too.

I agree on the safety course. Keep in mind the clutch will be more forgiving as you break in the bike.
