After market exhaust

Can any one give me a good suggestion on aftermarket exhaust and jetting please? I would like to get a some more power but not be a whole lot louder, a little louder is no problem though.

I love my Jardine, but significantly loud without the insert. About 3-5 decibels lower with insert. Only had to install an aftermarket adjustable needle with the e-clip on the mid position. Just a tad on the rich side, but better rich than lean. Brings the front end right up with only throttle input. Some other guys in here I am sure will have some input with quieter exhausts.. Altho there is a Jardine for an 08 on EBay right now.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the Jardine on KLR650.com. It says you can get a Quiet Module Insert. Is the 3-5 decibels really noticable or is it a waste of money??

Waste of money... but this is only my opinion. My buddy and I both bought the insert and took it out after a couple weeks. There is noticable decrease in power with it in. There is currently a Jardine on EBay for only @$100 with just a few hundred miles on it. Off of an 08. The needle we used is the Studebaker needle that came with the jet ket from KLR650.com. At the time they gave the jet kit and a breather for free with the exhaust.

They are still offering the jet kit and air filter with the exhaust at KLR650.com. Once again thanks for the information, you have helped me out alot. Iam still on the fence with what I am going to do though. I like to ride hard without drawing a lot of attention to myself, while just a little extra kick in power would be very nice also. So we will see. Thanks again.
