low speed idle surging/popping

Hey guys and girls I've got a small low speed idle pop / Serge very slight but enough to aggravate you on an idol does fiber good hit five or six good hits and then Very slight but I don't know it seems like it needs to go away Will the air mixture screw or the $0.22 Mod take care of that Or something else Thanks

danirose1961,
I'll suggest partially restricted pilot jet and idle mixture passage/screw. Be careful to not loose or damage the tiny little flat washer and 'o'-ring hiding up inside above the idle mixture spring and screw.
Read over here if not familiar,

And possibly a bad exhaust header gasket.

danirose1961,
The very last picture in that "Care and Feeding" article shows the pilot mixture screw, spring, flat washer and 'o'-ring, to which I referred. Be careful.

Check all the vac hoses too that connect to the octopus.
You could be sucking small amounts of air which would be
unnoticeable at higher rpms, but possibly cause a lean fart
at 1,100 rpms.
