broken hand guard

dropped my 08 in the garage and broke my handguard. i went out and bought new bars (renthal) and hand guards (acerbis). my question is this. the bars went on fine but i can't get the handguards to fit right. i got the only set they had at the cycle shop here. can anyone recommend a good set that i can get that will fit the renthal bars. they aren't as wide as the stock ones i don't think so part of the problem is they were hitting the fairing when i was trying to put them on. that and all the cables were in the way. any help would be appreciated.

I just put these on my 09 KLR 650. They fit and work great (only had to file off the little metal tab on the handlebars that guide some cables: Maier ATV Woods Pro Aluminum Handguards M59533 $53.00 cyclepages.com
Maier Hand Guards - black covers M59534BK $30.00 cyclepages.com

I put the end weights back on, using a large washer between it and the guard (several small washers could also be used), and and the OEM bolt. Plenty of room for the clutch lever, too.

Good suggestion Paulo. The rider would also allow you to adjust steering stem nut.

Paulo do you sell the 1" riser?
