HELP! chain hitting subframe bolt
Hello i have looked and cant seem to find any thread on my particular situation. i just put the eagle mike subframe bolt through upgrade kit and also a moose racing luggage rack on and when i went to test it out i heard an awful noise coming from under the airbox. upon further investigation i saw that the outside edge of the left side of the chain had been scraped up. the paint had been rubbed off by the lower bolt in the subframe. i then assumed i had tightened something in the wrong order so i went over the instructions again for both the rack and the bolt upgrade. i had followed both to the T. so i loosened everything and that alone didnt seem to do a thing. now im lost and am not sure what i should check or do next. there was no noise at all before i did the installs so im wondering why it even started in the first place? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to say that you will have to file, grind or hacksaw OFF the extra length of the offending LH bolt. Just count the exposed thread or measure if you can, remove it, cut it, grind it, file it as needed.
Very common problem, with after-market add-ons!

Re-install it to proper torque!
