California succedding...

Since Cali is considering bailing on the union, I was thinking of removing the Cali emissions stuff.
Is it worth it and what's to learn from anyone who's done it?

I did a thread search for this and came up with everything but. I even learned what can happen if pressure is too low without bead locks. Didn't even find a youtuber vid on it.

Doubt California will succeed in seceding, Squidly.

Seems like it was tried, once; about 150 years ago. Without lasting success.

Heard tell, they even have a kind of saying: "One nation, indivisible . . ." Rather conflicting with the concept of secession, I should think. If truly indivisible, how can secession be possible?

DISCLAIMER: Jettisoning the California anti-pollution gear should likely be quite legal outside that state; no, I don't know how to do it, either!

Given the size of the California economy, you'd best hope we don't leave, 'cause you'll definitely miss us when we're gone!

Thanks for catching that!!
I was giggling all the way to bed. I'm my own best entertainment!

I had the seat off looking down at the battery and what not, and it came to me.
Do I really have to have this visual obstruction in here

I would totally miss the beaches!!! There's a lot of time spent making those. Nor.Cal. has some of my favorite scenery!
Plus if the 101 was gone I'd lose a couple of my kids. They run down I-15 so much they'd drive right into the ocean.

Squidly,
The info you desire, to remove the Evaporative Emissions Plumbing might be is this thread,
http://www.klrforum.com/1987-2007-wr...heap-easy.html

Be certain to 'Plug' that hole above the battery and cap the vacuum tee on the carb.

Thanks pd! I'll give it a look. Forgot this stuff was on the 1's. I was being narrow minded and looked only in the 2008 > threads. Are you aware of any carb adjustments that might need to be made?
