parts diagrams

You all may already be aware of this. However, if you need one if those parts diagrams the parts guy uses at the dealership, they can be found on kawasakipartshouse.com.

If one goes to kawasaki.com , owner info , parts and keys in their VIN number, one can find the original Exact color matched/decal matched body parts part# Faster.

Both sites allow to acquire more info about the particular part, used on other models or other years. (Search or ?)

And kawasakipartshouse.com does not have full model line prior to 1990, I think. And nothing prior to 1984, I don't understand Why Not?

kawasaki.com does NOT sell parts directly thou!

FWIW here is the complete Parts Catalog from Kawasaki for a 2007 KLR650

What I did was to:
  1. Down load all of the Parts Pages from Kawasaki's Customer Site,
  2. Combine them into one pdf file, The attached is broken up into four files as there are file size restrictions on this forum. But still better than the 57 files that Kawasaki has I guess.
  3. Run OCR on it so that all pages are now searchable.

I use this for two purposes, First, for finding the Part Number of a Part, which I can then search for using Google, Amazon.com, eBay or any of the Kawasaki Dealer Web Sites that are out there. and Second, for seeing exactly in what order various assemblies are constructed.
