"New-style" SW Motech Engine guards...

Howdy - I wanted to let you know that the "New-style" SW Motech Engine guards and "Old-style" skid plate don't fit together without some KLR-style creativity.

I replaced my crashed Nomad rider engine guards with new SW Motech engine guards, and the guards' lower connection point has been moved from the foot pegs onto the frame. The connection bracket for the guards makes it nearly impossible to get the skid plate back on, and I got it to fit by bending back the ends of the skid plate. It isn't pretty, but it's functional.

Other than that skid plate hassle, the installation was even easier than anticipated, and I thank everyone who has offered their experience or advice on this board!
