Back in the saddle again

Bought as a basket case from a coworker for $600. After spending another $500 and quite a bit of time, I can at least ride her to work.

She's got a new clutch, I rebuilt the carb, new seals in the water pump, repainted her satin black, replaced the stock rider pegs with some MX foot rests, new tires, new battery, new mirror, an Acerbis MX front fender, taller windshield, new safety wired grips, handlebar brush guards, magnetic low profile drain plug, and other crap I don't remember at the moment.

Still need/want some crash bars, aluminum skid plate, and some panniers.

I want to thank DPelletier, Tom Schmitz, and Damocles for their assistance. It has made this much easier and I have learned quite a bit in a short time.

Wow! You did all that in pretty much record time. Nicely done; enjoy it.

Of course, you know that you'll want to check the oil on an '08 every time you get on it.

What box have you got on the rack there edit: Got it. MTM ACR8

I still held his automatic more or less pointed at him, but he swung on me just the same. It caught me flush on the chin. It was meant to be a hard one, but a pansy has no iron in his bones, whatever he looks like. -Philip Marlowe

Yes sir. It's a plastic ammo box I bolted on, atleast for now. I ordered some green Hamilton Versa-Packs for horses. I'll probably fab up some tubing to keep them from rubbing and laying against the exhaust. Eventually want/need some crash bars and an aluminum skid plate. My wallet needs a break for now, though.
