Turn signal Boots

For some reason i can not find a way to order new rubber boots/ mounts for my turn signals. Any suggestions. Gorilla tape only holds so long. Any fix ideas would be appreciated.

Don't think you can order those seperately. You didn't say the year of bike. I believe you need to buy the entire signal. There are some inexpensive signals avaialble for the KLR other than replacing with OEM>

My Kaw Barn - 2004 KLR, 2006 Concours (sold), 1997 Bayou 400.

early Gen2's were notorious for rotting rubber. No replacement of just the rubber AFAIK; if you want stock, it's the dealer for new stuff or Ebay and the like for used. ....there are tons of aftermarket LED setups but I've never found it to be worth the bother and most aren't as bright as stock. My suggestion would be to pick up a used pair on Ebay and hope they are from a 2010+

As klr4evr said, I'm pretty sure you got to buy the entire signal. My Gen1 had the same issue. It's some crappy elastomer they use (probably a mix of all the rubber compounds) and use it for the turn signals.

Bike Master sells Gen1 turn signals from $15 to something like $25 a signal. I'm not sure if they're the same for Gen2's, but ignore the "left" and "right" designations. They're totally interchangeable

That sounds expensive to me. I would shop around. Should get a pair for less than that.

You may be able to glean some info from this thread. Maybe you are eligible for the recall??

THANKS!! Called Kawasaki and they will replace all four! never occurred to me to check on a recall. I figured it was just something that wore out.
