Cowling options? IMS or factory cowling

Are there any places that sell aftermarket cowling for a 2009 KLR650? The 2009 I bought is missing the right side and the left side is a bit cracked. I am looking at either replacing them with factory cowling or an IMS 10 gallon tank. I don't need 10 gallon capacity and the factory tank is in great shape so I'm leaning towards the factory cowling but would really like to find some aftermarket that's made of better plastic than the factory plastic.

there is no aftermarket plastic available; it's the IMS or Kawi stuff. People have adapted the Gen1 6.6 IMS to the Gen2 and that's what I'd do since 10gall is way more than I'd want.

Do you know what is involved in using a Gen1 6.6 IMS on a Gen2 bike? I was hoping that was an option as the 6.6 gallon tank size is more than enough and the cost of the 6.6 gallon tank is much better and I personally like the looks of it more.

Sorry, I have Gen1's, but there is more info here; https://www.klr650.net/forums/showth...&highlight=ims

not plug and play but it doesn't look too difficult....and I agree; don't need 10 galls; I think the shrouds are stronger on the 6.6, I like the look better and you don't need a fuel pump.
