Sudden Backfiring on an 08???

She was running fine with 4800 miles, all of a sudden has a nasty backfire when downshifting!! Any ideas? Anybody know a good mechaic in SF Bay Area?

Check all the exhaust bolts.

Header bolts (2)
Header mount (1)
Header to Muffler clamp (1) (behind the rear brake reservoir)
Muffler mount (1)

Use Loctite and proper torque spec.

If this does not resolve the issue, check other bolts and clamps. also check the idle air screw setting.

There is a Tech Day in Cloverdale on August 9th.
