DynoJet kit and XCR slip on
Just finished a in & out mod to a 2012. And old but new Vance & Hines XCR slip on (apparently discontinued).
Just to re-verify here in 2018, the DynoJet kit instructions are way to aggressive and hopeful. Since I added Uni 1" rounds to the air box and removed the snorkel with doing the slip on, I assumed Stage 2 was in order. But no, far too rich. Backed down to their Stage 1 recommendation and instead of 2 1/2 turns out on the idle mixture screw, ended up with a C hair under 2. About as close to perfect as I can imagine on this.
Really loud. That XCR is ridiculous and didn't have either a spark arrestor or a silencer insert. And they're discontinued and I can't find one for nothin. So I guess I'll try to find a universal one to fit.
