Shift/brake lever adjustment
Well I installed some JNS footpeg lowering brackets this weekend. I love the extra room they give me. The problem now though is that I can't get the shifter or brake pedal low enough. If I lower the shift lever another tooth, it hits the frame and prevents downshifts. If I leave it where it is I have to raise my foot off the peg to downshift. I have an aftermarket shift lever, a steel one I believe. I was thinking I could just heat it up and bend it down where I need it, but I'm not sure if that would weaken it or make it more likely to break.
I'm not sure what to do about the brake pedal. I've already got it adjusted as low as possible and it's still too high by probably half or three quarters of an inch. Anyone make a rear master cylinder relocation bracket?
