Cam shaft timing questions

I'm trying to put my bike back together and have cam timing issues. I can get it all lined up but this puts the timing mark on the stator a bit out. If I put the stator mark in the center the intake cam mark is slightly below the case. I have counted the links and it seems right. Am i just being a freak ?

Looks as correct as it can get.

With the TDC mark Centered in the window & the slack pulled up on the front chain run & the exhaust cam sprocket engaged, the EX LH tip of arrow is usually just a little above level.

The Intake LH tip of arrow will be even slightly higher above level. So the Tail of of the arrow will be below level, All Normal.

Modify at "YOUR OWN RISK"!

Still riding my 1987 KL650-A1. 85,000+ miles & counting
